HUGE List of Ideas for the Sims 5 / Long Read if you are passionate about the Sims 5 Possibilities :)

As far as what's included in the base game, I think it should be the obvious big general things that a lot of people are requesting including myself, such as next-gen graphics(even if they keep the more cartoony art style, it can be like realistic cartoony) - this includes changes in lighting with Lumen from UE5, an open world/map, real-time weather changes, bringing back cars, way more customization to housing, furniture, clothing, etc. and definitely multiplayer like open servers(however you should be able to play the game solo if desired and not forced multiplayer)... I also think there should be things that make the Sims, THE SIMS, like the grim-reaper, the sad clown, the goths and maybe some original new and fresh characters/NPC's with story elements. Like since there's a Sim Town showed off, there should be voting for certain politicians that if elected will make changes over time in real-time to the town based on their political statements and goals, or even corrupt politicians that lie and get caught and ran out of town literally xD You should be able to vote in the game and there should be seasons from day one! Just like Fortnite and Overwatch and even COD for example have seasonal events in the game, I should be able to log on in December and see the whole town decorated in lights and Christmas cheer with eggnog or mint drinks to order from a local coffee and maybe even on Christmas day hearing Santa or reindeer in the sky. Halloween the whole town should come together to decorate with pumpkins and ghostly ghoulish decorations for October with fun cute seasonal events in the town. Maybe Valentine's day your Sims have a higher chance of getting romantically involved, like say there's a cute NPC you want your Sim to date but they are not compatible personality wise, on Valentine's day if you log in your Sim has a higher chance of increasing that romantic compatibility, etc. there could even be a Cupid that randomly or rarely will shoot people with arrows making them fall in love on that day, but then it could wear off the day after. Fun stuff like that, you know?

Also, I think the layout should be the town showed off, and then outside the town is the suburbs if you wanna make a house on a plot of land just like they've always done, but then outside of the suburbs is more forest areas or even a big arena space far out that they could actually hire bands to perform there for live events and stuff(like how Fortnite hires artists to perform occasionally at their one-time events). That would be dope! :D

Now, I really REALLY want to see elevated gameplay outside of the base/foundation Sims gameplay of just clicking on stuff and choosing an option.

For example, either in the base game or in an expansion pack, I would really like to see a Sims economy. Since the game is going to have multiplayer aspects to it, possibly servers with random people or private servers with friends, I want to be able to either run my own business, like a restaurant, and have choice over how it looks, what food I sell, how I decorate it, the layout, everything! I also want friends or strangers to be able to come into my restaurant and be able to tip well if they liked the food, or even if they didn't like it - complain or leave a bad review, just like in real-life. Also, if I wanted my sim to work for example as a cook at a restaurant, or even another player's restaurant, I want people to be able to tip me if I do well, so I have the opportunity to bring home more money at the end of that day than just the base pay, and even complain if I do poorly to my boss(whether AI or another actual player). Also, there could be things set in place to prevent abuse of a system like this, such as a player can only put a complaint or bad review in if they have gotten their order messed up 3 times in a certain period of time(like an actual 24-hours or something), or had 2 bad experiences at a place before the game even gives them an option to complain, and even IF a player gets a complaint its not automatic termination, it could be a penalty point system in place to give them chances. This would be so dope to have friends come and visit and support businesses they like and support their friends to help them reach their goals, while also if I go to a coffee shop to get some food for my Sim in town, and another player makes bad food or trolls me and it affects my wallet and Sims mood, there could be little penalties for that...

Also, as far as elevated gameplay. Let's say I wanted my sim to work as a barista at a coffee shop, and AI's or other players come in and order a latte, there should be mini-games in TS5 where for example there could be a timer and I have to make the drink with the write ingredients and correct amounts in the allotted time, where if I go over time there's a higher chance the drink doesn't come out right or something, and if a player drinks my drink and it's bad their mood goes down and eventually they can complain just like in real life. Maybe there's a slider bar and you have to hit a mark on the bar successfully to increase the chance the drink comes out amazing and it increases the players or Sim who is drinking it and their mood goes up and they can tip better, so you have opportunities to make more money than base salary for the day. Maybe this can also be applied for example to cooking at home, and if you study cooking the mini-games become easier to do and you increase the easiness of making really good quality food that increases your sims mood longer or keeps them full longer, etc. Of course, they could also add the option where if you don't like the mini-game or don't want to risk being bad at the mini-game, your Sim can just go to work and come home with the base pay...

Stuff like this would really elevate TS5 gameplay IMO, making it more fun, challenging, rewarding and next-gen overall <3 What do you guys think? :)
